Mary Beth Smith-Goldblatt, 67, died suddenly on April 29 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the wife of Stuart Goldblatt.  A long time baby care technician at the Hospital of St. Raphael, she loved her family and friends, as they loved her.  Mary Beth was a kind and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews.  She loved gardening and gift-giving to her cousins and friends.  Family, friends, and flowers were her love.

Besides her husband and her nieces and nephews, she is survived by her loving mother, Mae B. Christie, and her sister, Carolyn (Russell) Pierson, both of Guilford.  She was predeceased by her father and brother.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford, on Friday, May 4, at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery, Guilford.  Contributions in her memory may be made to St. George Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
