DuBreuil “Duey” Grenon, 64, of Guilford, died Oct. 5 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Donna Hayes Grenon. Duey was born in New Haven on June 3, 1948, son of the late Ovilda and Ruth Manning Grenon.  He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and had worked for Hostess Bakers, Maury’s Restaurant, and Lender’s Bagels. He had also served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Suzanne Migani, Ovilda Grenon and his wife Judy, and Bruce and Justin Grenon.  He is also survived by his special cats, White Paws, Barrett, and Patches. He was predeceased by his brother Noel Grenon.

Funeral services, officiated by The Rev. Timothy Meehan, will be conducted at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m.  Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.  Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Animal Haven, Inc., 89 Mill Rd., North Haven, CT  06473.  www.northhavenfuneral.com
