Concetta Mendillo Puglisi, 89, of Hamden died Nov. 30 at the CT Hospice in Branford. She was the beloved wife of Carmen Charles Puglisi, Sr. for 71 years. Born in New Haven on March 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angela Mendillo. Concetta was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her three children Carmen Charles Puglisi, Jr. of Wallingford, Barbara Fee of Clinton, and Gloria Barboza of East Haven, and her six grandsons and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Frank Mendillo of Clinton and the late Angela Smerglio. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Barboza.

Funeral services were conducted on Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment followed in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
