Lois Westerholm (nee Hemenway) died peacefully on Dec. 12. She was the wife of the late Walter Ludwig Westerholm.  Lois lived her life serving others with devotion and love.

Her family thanks the staff at Apple Rehabilitation Center of Middletown for their kindness and care.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four children and their spouses, John and his wife Linda, Stephen and his wife Gunilla, Ruth, and Joel and his wife Kim; eight grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Lisa, Joshua and his wife Mary, Jessica Kwapis and her husband Paul, Martin and his wife Jenna, and Paul, Monica, Thomas, and Emma; and six great-grandchildren Ethan, Owen, Levi, Nathan, Eleanor, and Evelyn.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, CT  06405 (203-488-3414).  Burial will be private.
