Helen A. Voegtli, 87, of Madison, died on Dec. 11.  She was born in Madison on March 11, 1925, daughter of the late John Voegtli and Tillie Voegtli Kelsey. Helen attended The Stone School of Business and had worked for U.S. Foreign Service. She traveled the world, and upon returning the U.S., she worked for and retired from AT&T. Helen had many friends and lived a good and full life.

Helen’s family thanks the staff at Madison House in Madison and Apple Rehab Guilford for their kind and professional care.

Helen is survived by her sister Emma V. Bushell of Madison and by numerous nieces and nephew and great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Voegtli and Milton Voegtli, and two sisters, Mary V. Goodale and Elizabeth Voegtli.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m., at the North Madison Congregational Church, 1271 Durham Rd. (Route 79), North Madison. Burial took place on Dec. 22 in Hammonasset Cemetery.  The Swan Funeral Home of Madison is in charge of arrangements.
