Barbara T. Herczeg Augeri, 77, of Terrace Gardens, Meriden, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown.  Barbara was born in Bronx, New York, on April 9, 1935, daughter of Mary Dominick of Colchester and the late Joseph Herczeg. She had worked as a loan assistant for the former Hudson United Bank until her retirement. She was also a member of the Red Hatters and the American Institute of Banking. Barbara loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and was also an animal lover.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her children, Keith J. Augeri and his wife Susan of Rocky Hill, Carrie Aitken and her husband Steven of Durham, and Corrin Hultgren and her husband Eric of Rockfall. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia Augeri, Cody and Carson Aitken, and Tyra and Tatum Hultgren, as well as her dear and devoted friend Maria Carofano of North Haven.  She was predeceased by a special aunt, Anne Jaczko.

Funeral services will be conducted at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m.  Family and friends may call from 12 noon until time of service.
