Dietrich W. Salomon, 91, New Haven

Dietrich W. Salomon, 91, husband of Muriel Kaufman Salomon of New Haven, died on Feb. 4 at Talmadge Park. He was the son of the late Henry and Freida Salomon. Prior to his retirement, Dietrich had been the owner of the former Fort Hale Realty, Fort Hale Fuel Company, and the Real Estate Institute of Learning for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Lisa Maccio and her husband Paul of New Haven and Richard Salomon of East Haven; a brother, John Salomon of Cheshire; and three step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Edna Stevens Salomon; a grandson, Christopher Dietrich Maccio; and a brother, Eric Salomon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741. The Porto Funeral Home, East Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
