Eloise Oliver Boykin, 81, of Allendale Dr., North Haven, died peacefully on March 27 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  Eloise was born in Duluth, Georgia, on Aug. 21, 1931, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Terrell Oliver. She had worked for Pratt & Whitney for many years until retiring as an inspector. 

She is survived by four children, Valerie Boykin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Melvin Boykin of New Haven, Darlyne Boykin and her husband Lincoln Roach of Cary, North Carolina, and Mark Boykin of New Haven.  She is also survived by two grandchildren, Brett and Taylor Boykin-Roach, as well as her sister Lillian Craddock and Lillian’s husband Lucious of Fayetteville, Georgia. She was predeceased by her son Richard Boykin and her brother Edward Oliver.

Funeral services, officiated by Pastor J.P. Morgan, will be conducted at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, on Saturday, March 30, morning at 10 a.m.   Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.  Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. www.northhavenfuneral.com
