    Leah P. (Rowe) Coleman, 49, Old Saybrook

    Leah P. (Rowe) Coleman, 49, of Old Saybrook died suddenly July 21 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Leah was born in Middletown to Betty (Horn) Clore of Old Saybrook and the late Robert Rowe.

    Leah graduated from Daniel Hand High School in 1981, and worked as a bartender at many area restaurants including the Chowder Pot and more recently at the VFW Post in Old Saybrook. She was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved to camp, garden and tend to her flowers.

    Above all, she will be remembered as a great Mom with a big heart. She is survived by her children Kyle M. Casner and George Jessie Tasillo, both of Old Saybrook, and her siblings; Sharon Tiezzi of Old Saybrook, Edward J. Reynolds III of Apache Junction, Arizona, Deborah Furlo of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Robert Reynolds of Guilford.

    Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28 from 2-4 p.m. at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. A celebration of life reception will follow at 5 p.m. at the VFW Post #10153, 315 Essex Rd., Old Saybrook. Interment will be private.
