    Adeline DiAdamo Riccio, 89, East Haven

    Adeline DiAdamo Riccio, 89, of East Haven, beloved wife of the late Arthur R. Riccio, died Aug. 2 at her home.

    She was born April 8, 1924 in New Haven to the late Victor and Rosaria (Visconti) DiAdamo. She graduated from Hillhouse High School and worked at the former Community Bank at Chapel and Olive Street, New Haven. While there, she operated one of the first IBM encoding machines. She dedicated her life to her husband, three sons and her grandchildren.

    She is survived by her sons Attorney Arthur R. Riccio and his wife Svetlana of Clinton, Dr. David Isaia Riccio and his wife Karen of Branford and Marc Thomas Riccio and his wife Kandi of Branford; her seven grandchildren Catherine Riccio Berry, David, Jr., Natalie, Adam, Timothy, Adeline and Arthur Riccio III. She is also survived by her loving care givers Sharon Petroskey and Stacey Rubino; and by Sharon’s sons Jeremy and Nicholas. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers Peter D. Adamo, Harry DiAdamo, Sr., and Nicholas DiAdamo; and four sisters Susan Apicella, Rose DiAdamo, Angelina McDermott and Edith C. D’Addio.www.celentanofuneralhome.com.

    A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Aug. 6 in St. Michael’s Church, Wooster Square, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery.
