Elaine “Chicky” Morgillo, 71, of New Haven and North Haven, died Aug. 31. She was born July 13, 1942 in New Haven to the late Albert and Phyllis Delmonico. Elaine worked as a machinist for Winchester for more than ten years.

She is survived by her son Joseph Morgillo and his fiancé Diane Lopez of East Haven; her daughter Lisa Barker and her husband Bill of East Haven; eight grandchildren, Michele Barker, Zack Barker, Kristen Morgillo, Joseph J. Morgillo, Anthony Morgillo, Bill Longley, Sean Morgillo, and Dylan Holt; and a special family member, Lillian Amodio of East Haven. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Delmonico and sister Maryann Walker.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Sept. 3 in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven, committal service was held privately. The Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven, was in charge of arrangements.
