Bernice E. Moore Mozealous, 90, of Bethany, beloved wife of 67 years to Frank G. Mozealous, died peacefully Sept. 12 at the Hospital of St. Raphael with her family by her side. Bernice was born Aug. 28, 1923 in New Haven to the late Bernard and Fredericka Lassen Moore.

She was a dedicated member of the First Church of Christ Congregational in Bethany and a volunteer at the Connecticut Food Bank for many years until just a few months ago. Most of all, she was devoted to her family and loved them unconditionally. 

She is survived by her son Bert Mozealous and his wife Nancy of North Haven; her daughter Susan and her husband Gary Stone; her grandchildren Bridget and her husband Donny Foyer, Jr., Kevin Mozealous and his wife Ashley, Gary Stone, Jr., and his wife Cristina, and Jeffrey Mozealous; her great-grandchildren Leia and Violet Foyer; her brothers Robert Moore and his wife Audrey and Francis Moore and his wife Edith; her sister-in-law Edith Bogaert; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. in the First Church of Christ Congregational, 511 Amity Road, Bethany. Interment will be private in the First Church Burial Grounds, and there will be no visiting hours.
