Annina Capozzo Fiondella, 89, of North Haven, wife of Francesco Fiondella, died peacefully Sept. 18 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. Annina was born Feb. 2, 1924 in Gioia Sannitica, Benevento, Italy to the late Mariano and Pasqualina Frassini Capozzo. She worked at Platt & LaBonia in North Haven until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Olimpia Melillo Fiondella; her grandsons Francesco Fiondella and his wife Nicole and Federico Fiondella and his wife Dayana; her great-grandchildren Augustin Guido, Aurelia Davi-Fiondella and Fabrizio Fiondella; her brothers Giuseppe, Pietro, Luigi and Antonio Capozzo; and her sisters Catarina Russo, Alfonsina Lucatino, Filomena Orsini, Concetta Malone, and Marianella DelGreco. She was predeceased by her son Guido Fiondella; her sister Michelina Russo; and her brothers Vincenzo, Francesco, Mario and Gennaro Capozzo.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
