William S. “Bill” Pentland, 32, of Guilford, formerly of Madison, died suddenly Oct. 5. Bill was born April 14, 1981 in Norwich to Bruce and Dianne Pentland of Guilford. He was raised in Madison, where he attended school.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. The Guilford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
