Patricia A. White Russell, 79, of East Haven, wife of Alban C. Russell, died Nov. 7 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. Patricia was born Jan. 19, 1934 in New Haven to the late John and Mary Mannix White. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University.

Patricia was a teacher for the North Haven school system from 1956 to 1962 and the East Haven school system from 1962 until her retirement. She was a member of the National Education Association, an avid reader, and enjoyed baking. 

She is survived by her daughter Mary Russell; son David Russell and his wife Caryn; grandchildren Delaney, Teagan, and Kelly Russell; and her brother John White. She was predeceased by her brother Barry White; and sister Dolores White.

Family and friends may call Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven, followed by interment in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Therese Nursery School, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473.
