Anne Kost Zivitski, 97, of Deep River, died peacefully Nov. 3 surrounded by family. Anne was born March 17, 1916 in Spangler, Pennsylvania to the late Julia Smarsh Kost and Michael Kost.

In 1937, she married Paul Zivitski. They lived in New Jersey, New York City, and Somerville, Massachusetts before purchasing a farm and settling in Deep River in 1946. She worked at Uarco and Monsanto in addition to raising four children and taking care of the farm. She was a member of the Deep River Congregational Church.

She is survived by her four children, Paul and his wife Beatrix of Essex, Richard and his wife Denise of Ormond Beach, Florida, James and his wife Barbara of Holly Hill, Florida and Beverly Appleby of Daytona Beach, Florida; eight grandchildren, Tania, Heather, Richard, Ronald, Ryan, Bonnie, Christopher and Beth; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1955; her brothers Charles and Sam; and her sister Mary.

Funeral services and burial were held in Clifton, New Jersey.
