Katherine Vergati Bartiromo, 91, of Branford, wife of the late Ralph Bartiromo, died Dec. 12 at Connecticut Hospice. She was born Nov. 30, 1922 to the late Salvatore and Alexandrina Eligio Vergati. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Branford and greatly enjoyed her days at the Orchard House in Branford. 

She is survived by her daughters Linda Bartiromo of East Haven and Kathleen Stardellis and her husband Robert Langan of East Haven; grandchildren Brittany Stardellis, Jarett Esposito, and Heather Holmes; great-grandchildren Logan and Aiden Holmes; sisters Pauline Sparano,Vera Vergati and Dolores Vergati, all of East Haven and Phyllis Cognato of Branford; and her brothers John Vergati of East Haven and Salvatore Vergati of Branford. She was predeceased by a sister, Jennie Dacato; and son-in-law Napoleon Stardellis.

Her funeral procession will leave Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 9:30 a.m. from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
