Barbara Augur Stoddard, 78, of East Haven, beloved wife of Frank L. Stoddard, Jr., died Jan. 2 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. Mrs. Stoddard was born April 25, 1935 in New Haven to the late Newell and Hannah Bellamy Augur. She was employed as personnel manager for Sears Department Stores for many years until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Scott Stoddard and his wife Callista of Branford and Craig Stoddard of East Haven.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours.
