    Paula J. (Dworak) Tupay, 69, Killingworth

    Paula J. (Dworak) Tupay, 69, of Killingworth, died on Jan. 7 at Middlesex Hospital after a short illness. Beloved wife of Milton J. Tupay, Paula was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Stanley and Sophia (Kozlowski) Dworak, and had been a resident of Killingworth for the past 40 years.

    She was educated in Hartford and graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in New London. Paula worked for many years in area hospitals, and as a private duty nurse.

    She was a member of the Killingworth Inland Wetland Agency; a dedicated volunteer to many organizations over the years, and was an avid knitter.

    In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Douglas W. Tupay and his wife Victoria of Oxford; and a brother, Gregory Dworak of Madison. Paula was predeceased by her granddaughter Jayne-Marie Mannetho.

    Visiting hours will be held Friday, Jan. 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
