William A. Avino, 91, North Haven

William A. Avino, 91, of North Haven, husband of Anna Fusco Avino, died Dec. 27. He was born Feb. 5, 1922 to the late Henry and Rose Macri Avino. He was a World War II Army veteran, and retired from Wallace Silvermith Co.

He is survived by his sons Robert Avino, William A. Avino, Jr., and his wife Diane, Richard Avino, and Michael Avino.

His funeral procession will leave from Maresca & Sons Funeral Home, 592 Chapel St., New Haven, Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Church. Burial with military honors will be in North Haven Center Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, Jan. 13 from 5-8 p.m. Offer condolences at www.marescafuneralhome.com.
