Carolina (Barba) Falanga, 92, of North Haven, died Feb. 5 at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was born July 3, 1921 in Italy.

She is survived by her daughters Connie and her husband Nicholas Manzi of North Haven, Maria and her husband John A. Gilchrist of North Haven, and Rosanna and her husband Lou Preziosi of Cape Cod; and her son Dr. Vincent Falanga and his wife Anne (Thompson) of Boston, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Pat, who died in 1992.

Private funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 15 at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, followed by committal in All Saints Cemetery.
