Robert J. Lawlor, 76, Guilford
Robert J. Lawlor, 76, of Guilford, beloved husband of 54 years to Margaret “Marge” Lawlor, died Feb. 18 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Bob was born Jan. 27, 1938 in New Haven to the late Harold M. and Lucille Wronski Lawlor. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his sons Robert C. Lawlor and his wife Lori of Guilford and Richard C. Lawlor of Guilford.
A celebration of Bob’s life will take place Sunday, Feb. 23 from 1-4 p.m. at VFW Post 7666, 104 Mill Rd., Guilford. Casual attire. Burial will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Center, P.O. Box 7611, New Haven, CT 06519. The Guilford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
