Marie Rignoli Bottone, 83, of East Haven, beloved wife of the late Louis G. Bottone Sr., died Feb. 26 at her home. Born in New Haven on Sept. 14, 1930, Marie was the daughter of the late James and Anna Ritz Rignoli. She was the loving mother of Kathy Pacileo Bottone of East Haven, Louis G. (Mary) Bottone Jr. of Toms River, New Jersey, and the late James Bottone; the grandmother of Louis G. Bottone III, Lisa Avery, and Amanda and Kelly Meyer; the great grandmother of Anna Zito, Nicholas, Alexxus, Michaela, and Giavonni Gambardella; and the sister of the late Helen Kennedy and Katherine and James Rignoli.

Prior to her retirement Marie was a bus driver for the CT Transit Company.

Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Road, East Haven on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
