Luther A. Trieschmann V, 81, of East Haven, died March 18 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Kathryn Casey Trieschmann. Born in Hartford on Dec. 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Luther and Eleanor Aston Trieschmann IV. He had served his country faithfully in the United States Army, was a Past Master and Mason for Lodge #63, and had worked as a conductor for Amtrack and Conrail. He was the father of Karen T. Goodman, Margaret Gambardella, Sean (Andrea) McGuire, and Kirk Trieschman, and the grandfather of Michael “Mickey Ben” Goodman, Vincent, Dominick, and Genevieve Gambardella and Robert Trieschmann.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial gathering at J-Roos, 249 State Street, North Haven on Saturday, March 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
