Gloria DeLeon Gallego, 79, wife of Pedro Gallego of East Haven, died March 26 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the mother of Haydee and and her husband Bruce Aarons of Marietta, Georgia, Elizabeth Gallego of East Haven, and Peter Gallego of Branford. She was the grandmother of Marissa Aarons, and Nicole, Brandon, and Katrina Gallego. She was the daughter of the late Ventura and Eladia Campos DeLeon, and sister of Rose Acevedo of East Haven and the late Enrique and Michael DeLeon.

Prior to her retirement, Gloria worked for the New Alliance Bank for many years.

Her funeral procession left the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, on March 31 at 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 12:30.
