Barbara S. (Sliney) Spargo, Guilford

Barbara S. (Sliney) Spargo of 43 Long Hill Farm in Guilford passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on April 24 at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven. She was the widow of Donald A. Spargo. She is survived by daughter Sara Plotkin ( Alan ), and sons Mark E. Troostwyk and Donald A. Spargo, Jr. ( Andrea). She is also survived by grandchildren Greg, Jay, and Alyssa Plotkin and William Spargo. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the New Haven Register Fresh Air Fund, 40 Sargent Dr., New Haven, CT 06511, or Soundview YMCA Annual Support Campaign, 628 East Main St., Branford, CT 06405.
