Mrs. June Templeman Fleet, 95, of Indian Lake Estates, Florida, died on April 17 at Life Care Center of Winter Haven, Florida.

She was born on March 27, 1919, in Hartford to Sidney and Susan Templeman and moved to Indian Lake Estates thirty years ago from Clinton. Alongside her late husband Russell, she was the owner and manager of the Holiday Motel in Clinton for twenty-four years. She was a Gold Star Mother of the American Legion Post #66 Ladies Auxiliary in Clinton and she was of the Episcopal faith.

June is survived by her son Russell W. “Skip” Fleet, II, and his wife Shirley of Key West, Florida; granddaughter Chrissa Lynn Fleet of Greenville, Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, AK2 Stephen M. Fleet, USN, and a brother Sidney S. Templeman.

Inurnment will be made alongside her husband and son at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Memorials of remembrance may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
