Waterford girls finish fencing season undefeated

Waterford girls fencing completed a perfect season in epee and foil, defeating NFA 5-4 in foil and 7-2 in epee Saturday at NFA's Norton Gym.
Taylor Wininger-Sieve went 3-0 in her bouts for the Lancers (8-0), who completed their second straight unbeaten season.
In epee, Waterford finished 7-0 as sophomore Katie Hawkins went 3-0 in both of her bouts.
In the boys' competition, Waterford defeated NFA 7-3 in foil. Ahsan Arshad went 3-0 in both bouts for the Lancers, who finish 5-3.
Seniors for both teams were honored in ceremonies prior to competition.
