    Deep River – Valley/Old Lyme earned a 26-14 over Gilbert co-op to advance to CIAC Class SS football final Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Valley Regional High School. Nick Cox caught two first-half touchdown passes from Grady Lacourciere, Jake Rand a touchdown and classmate DiAngelo Jean-Pierre scored on a 57-yard run.

    The sixth-ranked Warriors will advance to their second state final and will play No. 5 Barlow on Saturday.
