Minor injuries in Ledyard crash

Ledyard - A rescue crew extricated a person Saturday night who was entrapped in a car that rolled over following a two-vehicle collision on Pumpkin Hill Road.
The crash occurred near 363 Pumpkin Hill Road at about 9:40 p.m., and two people suffered minor injuries.
Ledyard police responded, as well as Ledyard Fire Department and ambulance, Old Mystic Ambulance and paramedics from Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
A dispatcher said it took 16 minutes to extricate the trapped driver, and that the road remained closed an hour after the incident. Further information was unavailable.
