    Norwich police say car hit Greeneville building

    A large hole in the rear wall of a building located at 454 North Main Street in Norwich, caused by a car in which the driver allegedly got out and ran from the scene Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

    Norwich – A man fleeing from police Tuesday afternoon crashed a car into a commercial building on North Main Street, police said.

    The man has yet to be apprehended.

    The car crashed into 454 N. Main St., which is listed as the Genesis Ministry Center. Police said the building is in the area of the city fire department’s Station 2, at 464 N. Main St.

    Police said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
