    Norwich raid nets prescription drugs, cocaine, cash

    Norwich – Police raided an alleged drug dealer’s home Tuesday afternoon and seized prescription pills, crack cocaine and cash.

    After the 4:05 p.m. raid at 20 Oak St., Apt. 1, police arrested Kinte L. Tate, 24, of the same address and charged him with possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to sell, possession of Oxycontin, possession of Oxycontin with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Police seized crack cocaine packaged for street-level sales, $1,200 in cash, a scale and Oxycontin tablets.

    Tate is held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Norwich Superior Court.
