Downed tree closes Fanning Road in Ledyard

Ledyard — Fanning Road is closed to traffic because of a downed tree that is across the roadway.

Police said a tree crew is en route. It was not certain for how long the road would be closed.

UPDATE 9:42 a.m. - Fanning Road has been reopened.
