Groton – Groton Town Police will be conducting “Click it or Ticket” seat belt and child restraint spot checks today in several locations throughout town, focusing on seat belts, child restraints, distracted driving and failure to use hands-free devices.

The effort is part of a national safety campaign. Groton town police patrol officers will focus on the same driving safety factors.
