The cause of death of 20-year-old Alyssiah Wiley, who was reported missing in April and whose remains were discovered May 17 in Trumbull, remains undetermined, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said Tuesday.
Wiley’s boyfriend, Jermaine V. Richards, 30, of Bridgeport, has been charged with her murder and kidnapping. Wiley, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, was reported missing from the Willimantic campus on April 24.
The Connecticut State Forensic Lab in Meriden used DNA to identify the remains, state police said.
