Montville sobriety checkpoint yields numerous arrests, infractions

Montville — Town police with the assistance of the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Traffic Enforcement Team arrested three people for drunken driving during a sobriety checkpoint that was held Friday into early Saturday morning.
Police also charged five people for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, five people for possession of drug paraphernalia and one person for possession of narcotics.
Police also handed out numerous infractions for motor vehicle violations.
