Home invasion reported at home of 91-year-old New London man

New London — Police are seeking the suspects in a home invasion and robbery Wednesday morning at the home of a 91-year-old city resident.

Police said an elderly man living on Pacific Street answered a knock at his door and found no one there. Moments later, two masked men entered the home demanding money and valuables while one of the men held a stun gun to the man’s neck, police said.

The masked men spent several minutes in the home before fleeing in an unknown direction with a small amount of cash. Police received a 911 call from the victim at 11:20 a.m. The victim was not injured in the incident, police said.

The two suspects are believed to be Hispanic or black men described as tall with slim builds, about 20 years old and wearing dark clothing and ski masks.
