Stonington police today said they received complaints from residents in the Starr Court and Pequot Trail areas of Pawcatuck about several overnight motor vehicle break-ins.
In one case, police said, someone attempted to enter a home.
“We are calling to make you aware of the incidents and to let you know that you should keep your vehicles locked and secure homes overnight while we investigate these incidents,” said Stonington Police Capt. Jerry Desmond in a statement released to area residents.
Police urge residents to report any suspicious activity to the Stonington Police Department at (860) 599-7500.
