Infant death in Putnam appears accidental, police say

Putnam — The death of an infant found unresponsive early Friday appears to have been accidental, state police said Saturday.

The chief medical examiner’s office conducted a post mortem examination Saturday of Bradley White, who was just shy of 5 months old. The death appears accidental, pending further studies, police said. Police are continuing to investigate.

Putnam police responded at 4:07 a.m. Friday to a home at 7 Mohegan St. for reports of an unresponsive infant. Bradley was pronounced deceased after being taken by ambulance to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
