Norwich — A crew from AT&T was working to replace a utility pole late Friday following a motor vehicle crash in the area of 275 Washington St.

The crash was reported shortly after 8 p.m. with reports of wires down. Norwich police provided no further details about the accident.

A Norwich Public Utilities spokesman said two customers, including Lee Memorial Church, were without power as of 10 p.m. Power was expected to be restored as soon as the pole was replaced.
