Montville ― Interstate 395 southbound has reopened between exits 9 and 6 after a motor vehicle crash earlier this afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation’s website.

State police said the motor vehicle accident which involved a tractor-trailer and three cars caused minor injuries.

The road temporarily was closed due to an accident reported about 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, but reopened about 4 p.m.
