East Lyme man charged with stabbing during domestic incident
East Lyme ― Police arrested a 43-year-old local man on Sunday for allegedly stabbing a female victim.
Christopher Harris of 209 Main St., Apt. 3, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
At about 6:45 p.m., East Lyme police were called to Harris’ residence for a possible domestic incident reported by neighbors. Police said they arrived to find a woman with a puncture wound to her arm. The injury appears to have been caused by a pair of scissors.
The victim’s injury was not serious or life-threatening and police said she declined to provide police with details of what occurred.
