Man found dead at Waterford Walmart identified
Waterford ― Police have identified the man found dead in a vehicle parked in a Walmart parking lot earlier this week as 35-year-old Joshua Austin of Waterford.
Austin was discovered unresponsive on Monday at 11:10 a.m. at the Walmart in Waterford by a passerby who contacted police.
Police said the investigation into the man’s death continues, but is not considered criminal. Police said they await a report from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Austin’s cause of death.
In an interview posted to YouTube last year, Austin describes himself as a veteran of the war in Iraq with post-traumatic stress disorder and mental health issues who has previously struggled with addiction.
