The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. • A 48 year-old man of a Pool Road apartment was arrested at 12:47 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following an investigation into the theft of a purse from a State Street Restaurant in July.

• A 28 year-old man of Carriage Drive and a 43 year-old East Haven man were arrested at 5:30 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree. The arrests occurred following the report of a man who was seen placing numerous packages of batteries into his pockets while inside a Washington Avenue gas/convenience store. Another man, outside the store, was seen taking two cases of windshield fluid from the store's front sidewalk. As the attendant called police both men fled in a car. The car was seen traveling southbound on I-91 and stopped near exit 9 by North Haven Sgt. Michael Mahon. Both men were arrested and the merchandise was recovered.
