The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Tuesday, Oct. 26Police correspondent Jason J. • A 34 year-old man of Chelmsford, Massachusetts was arrested at 5:13 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, providing a false name or address, unsafe lane change, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license. He was stopped after a 911 report of an erratic operator and he failed a field sobriety test. He was held in lieu of a $1,000 surety bond pending court arraignment the following morning.
