• A 68 year-old Southington man was issued a citation at 3:53 p.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 1998 Mercury Sable he was operating with an 80 year-old man and a 62 year-old woman of the same address onboard struck the rear of a 2008 Honda Accord operated by a 50 year-old woman of Fritz Road who had slowed to a stop to make a left turn onto Route 148. No injuries were reported at the scene.
