Guilford Police Incident Report for Jan. 18

The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.Wednesday, Jan. 18From Jan. 12 through Jan. 18 Guilford Police Department received 229 calls for service. Police made two arrests, investigated 11 motor vehicle accidents, issued 36 infractions, 15 written warnings and three verbal warnings. Police made one child safety seat installation.Pam Johnson compiles the police incident report.

• No arrests were made.

• A burglary was reported at a Murray Lane residence, 10:18 a.m.

• An unwanted person was reported at a West Lake Avenue address, 5:18 p.m.

• An unwanted person was reported at a Soundview Road business, 5:31 p.m.

• Harassment, resident reports receiving two sweepstakes phone calls today; caller used profane language.
