    Deep River Police Incident Report for Nov. 28 to Dec. 1

    The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

    Wednesday, Nov. 28 - Friday, Nov. 30

    • No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.

    Saturday, Dec. 1

    • No arrests were made.

    • At 7:23 p.m. Trooper Matthew Weber reported that an unknown vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle’s mirror on Kirtland Street between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. The driver is wanted for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident). Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call Troop F at (860) 399-2100.

    • A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated in front of 4 Elm Street by Officer Richard Smith at 2:09 p.m. No details were available at press time.
