    Guilford Police Incident Report for Oct. 31

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.

    Thursday, Oct. 31

    • A 49 year-old Russo Drive resident was charged with risk of injury to a child, third-degree assault and second-degree risk of injury to a child.

    • A 49 year-old Milford Road resident was charged with second-degree breach of peace.

    • A 36 year-old New Haven resident was charged with violation of controlled substance label requirement, failure to keep narcotics in original container, failure to drive in the proper lane and traveling at an unreasonable speed.

    • A 43 year-old Milford Road resident was charged with two counts of second-degree breach of peace.

    • Between 12:34 a.m. and 12:57 a.m., police received five reports of criminal mischief; toilet paper strewn on trees, wires and/or in roadways on Boston Street, Highwoods Drive, Stone Boat Road, Northwood Drive and Hart Road.

    • Criminal mischief, four mailboxes damaged, Tanner Marsh Road.

    • Criminal mischief, mailbox damaged, Prospect Hill Road.

    • Suspicious activity, caller reports male in  his late 20’s, wearing a sheet suggesting kids go down driveway and around the rear of  a house for “big candy,” Fawn Hill Court, 7:43 p.m. The area was checked by police and cleared.
