    Clinton Police Incident Report for July 16 to 18

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. 

    Wednesday, July 16

    • A 30 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 4:19 p.m. and charged with forgery in the third degree and failure to appear in the second degree.

    • A 28 year-old woman of Springfield, Massachusetts was arrested at 8:01 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on West Main Street.

    • A 54 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:49 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, failure to renew registration, and violation of exhaust emissions standards following a motor vehicle stop on Heritage Park Road.

    • Harassment was investigated on Hurd Bridge Road at 6:11 p.m.

    Thursday, July 17

    • A 52 year-old woman of a Glenwood Road apartment was arrested at 9:40 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

    • A burglary was investigated on Hide A Way at 12:24 p.m.

    • Harassment was investigated on Captains Walk at 9:12 p.m.

    Friday, July 18

    No arrests were made.

    • A larceny was investigated on Shore Road at 11 a.m.
